When first asked about this venture 9 months ago, it felt like an achievable challenge.  Roll forward 8 months and 2 further lock-downs, it suddenly feels more daunting!  We've worked hard to catch up on our training, and are hopeful it will be a glorious day when it's time.

We're swimming in traditional style, meaning no wet suits, so wish us luck when we meet the jelly-fish in the middle!  If you can help us out with a donation - no matter how small - it will help both of our elected charities do more of the great work they are already doing:

Vision Foundation: my sister in law Monica is blind and has received both help and motivation from this charity.

Blood Cancer: my 'aunt' Sheila suffered from Lymphoma and this charity provided help and guidance on how to cope and treatment options.
