Story
After 2 years of doing to London To Brighton Off-Road ride I've decided to change plans for 2026 and complete the normal on-road version of the ride.
Shorter distance (87km compared to 100km), fully tarmaced.... sounds easy compared to the off-road right? Well to give myself that extra bit of challenge I'll be doing the ride on my hardtail mountian bike, not a nice and light road bike!
Will my legs hate me? Yes.
Will I regret my choice of bike? Almost defintiely.
Will I still be riding for great cause and grit my teeth through the pain? Absolutley!
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
