Story

A team of 7 of Toby's friends took on the Three Peak Challenge to raise money for the Toby Mann Fund. This will involved us climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfel Pike and . Although I am not sure any of us were entirely sure what we had decided to take on we managed to complete the challenge in 21 hours and 30 minutes. This involved walking 22.5 miles and climbing the 9,683 feet, which we achieved in 8 hours 40 minutes.

The Toby Mann Fund was set up in 2004 in memory of Toby, who had just left Milton Abbey. Toby had a fatal accident whilst travelling, prior to going to to study agriculture.

Toby, who had struggled academically, spent five years at Milton Abbey and with extra academic help and encouragement; he left as Captain of Rugby, Head of House and with three good “A” levels.

An award was given last academic year. With extra funding The Toby Mann Fund will be there, to help any boy, showing Toby's attributes, through his full "A" level years. This might help his Parents decide to continue at Milton Abbey, aiding their son to achieve his personal best.

Any support you can give to such a great cause is very much appreciated.
