Virgin London Marathon 2015 · 26 April 2015 ·

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

Back in 2012, my wife Beanie was diagnosed with Crohns Disease. It has been challenging at times but we count ourselves lucky to have such supportive family and friends who have helped us remain confident and upbeat. As yet, the definitive cause is not known and there is no cure, therefore I am hoping the money raised will help advance the research into this chronic condition - and that hopefully one day soon they will have the answer.

I have always wanted to run a marathon, so nominating myself for this was easy (although the training might not be!).

The rugby match was a huge success
