We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

The Soldiers’ Charity gives lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. I will be walking the 4km route of the St George’s school Great Curry Run on 26th April 2014 to raise money for this worthwhile charity. It will also be a huge personal challenge because as a result of chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma I lost the use of my legs and was unable to walk. It has taken two years to regain the strength in my legs. To date, I have not been able to walk the distance of 4km, but I am in training and determined to succeed on the day!

I’d be grateful for your help in raising as much money as possible for this brilliant charity.

Thank you!
