Cranmore Tower Zip Wire Challenge 2013 · 14 September 2013 ·

SOS Africa invests 100% of all donations in the education & care of disadvantaged South African children with regular feedback to sponsors. Since 2003 the grassroots charity has provided children from the ages of 5-18 with education, care and learning support programmes tailored to their needs.

Story

This is the communal page for TOCS teams to donate to, we've centralised the donation to make things easier and we'll then split it amongst all participants.

Everyone likes to challenge/ scare themselves sometimes, so when CheddarClimbingCaving approached us to take part in their zip wire challenge for SOS Africa we jumped at the chance.

SOS Africa is a UK registered charity who raise funds to educate and care for underprivileged township children in Africa. 100% of donations go to the cause as all charity expenses are covered by Gift Aid and their online shop.

The challenge will take place 148ft up, at the top of Cranmore Tower, at which point you’ll jump off and zip along for 100m before landing back on the ground.
