My name is Tom. I am 12 and I have Aspergers.
Here’s my film which tells you what I’m doing:
I love animals so much. My first word was ‘dog’ and I’ve always loved animals for as long as I can remember.
I am lucky enough to have two dogs; Pips and Rags. They help me with my anxiety but also I just love them.
Although Rags is a rescue dog, both dogs have a lovely, happy life at home with us.
I know that there are dogs and cats that don’t have such a happy life, and Battersea work hard to help them. They help them by looking after them and finding them new homes so that they can be happy and loved like our dogs.
I hope you will join in my competition by posting a photo of your pet on Instagram, Facebook or Twitterwith the hashtag #todacs and making a donation here.
Thank you so much.
PS: My Mum would like to make it clear that we know there should be an apostrophe in the title of this page but JustGiving wouldn’t allow it! That’s her excuse and she’s sticking to it
