Elementary schools teach children to read.  Mentoring programs like Everybody Wins! Vermont help children LOVE to read, helping them to grow up to be better students, brothers, sisters, partners, and employees/employers.

Even in the pandemic, mentoring continued.  I met with my 2nd grade mentee, Henry, every week via Zoom and we shared many books together during the 2020-21 academic year.

As a board member of Everybody Wins! Vermont, I can tell you the organization continues to deliver on its mission to provide a mentor for every child that wants one at the schools we serve.  The Everybody Wins! August Races 2021 are the largest fundraising event for the organization.

This year will be my third Race to the Top of Vermont and I'm hoping to get 50 supporters this year.  I've kicked off my campaign with a $500 donation. If we can get to $4500, I'll throw in another $500!
