Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page. Please take a moment to read the full story below.

These wristbands have been created to raise money for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund (the appeal in partnership with the British Red Cross, to support those affected by the attack and their families).

They are for those who would like to help spread the wider message of community, solidarity, and unity.

➤The black band is to respect those who lost their lives or their loved ones in the attack.

➤The wording is to pass on the message that divisions of all kinds are meaningless when it comes to supporting a cause such as this, with the underlying message that together as a city, as a country, as a community, and most importantly as humans, we stand unbroken when we stand together.

➤The infinity symbol, and it's shading, is to represent the differences between us, yet that together we are unbroken at all times, not just at times of crisis.

➤➤➤If you are a box/gym owner, please promote this page on your community page. Ask your members to bring in a donation of £3 per band. Then once you have collected in the orders, please send in your collective donation in one payment as a gym. We'll then post the bands out to you in one package.

➤➤➤If you are an individual, please help your box/gym to get this set up and sorted. Then bring in your donations ASAP. If you're not a member of a gym, then perhaps club together with teams or friends to do something similar to save on postal costs (none of the donated money will be used for postal costs).

Please make sure you tick the box at the end of the donation process next. This means that we can securely access your email address, to message you for address details.

We have ordered 500 bands to arrive next week. Band design brought to life and bands lovingly contributed by Sam Cordingley of Samson Athletics.

[Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.]
