Story

The six of us, myself and parter Kim, Anita and David, and Amy and Jake will be taking part in the Isle of Wight challenge, walking 25 Km for macmillan cancer support. In October of last year David discovered that he had stage 4 lung cancer. Upon meeting both David and Anita at the gym I was inspired by his story, the positive outlook both David and Anita have and how great a people they are. Always smiling and joking David persists to make others laugh and smile and now its time for him to walk 25Km!

David with the help of doctors, has been on a mostly juice diet, accompanied by a lot of vegetables as well as training and treatment. subsequently the cancer has reduced 80% in size. Its causes like Macmillan that help people like David improve their standard of life if not lengthen it substantially, so please donate!

Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right right there with you.
