Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
I am chairman of the board of trustees and a proud ambassador of the brilliant local charity Help Harry Help Others. For those that don't know, Harry Moseley was an inspirational young boy who, after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour and his close friend had passed away with the same illness, decided at the age of 9 to raise money for brain cancer research by making beaded bracelets and selling them outside supermarkets. By the age of 11 he had raised £500,000. Many high profile celebrities were inspired by his bravery, courage and love for others including the Prime Minister David Cameron who wore one of his bracelets on TV. When I first interviewed him on BRMB Radio he changed my life. He became my pal and still is even though he passed away a few years ago. His wonderful Mom Georgie has devoted her life to continuing his legacy through HHHO's. Harry lives on through her as she carries on the work he started. To date we have given away more than half a million pounds to those families affected by cancer through our Help Cope, Help Care and Help Cure policy. Our latest project is to open a walk in centre for families who need help or even just someone to talk to and share the burden.
Anne and I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate instead of buying us a wedding gift so that HHHO's can continue to spread lots of Harry Love
