London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

The Ministry of Stories is a non-profit creative writing centre where imaginations run wild. Every year, hundreds of young people make their way through our doors to become authors, comic book makers, singer-songwriters and script writers.

Story

This April I'll be running the London Marathon to raise money for a very deserving London charity, the Ministry of Stories.

The Ministry of Stories (http://www.ministryofstories.org/) is a writing and mentoring centre in east London, where anyone aged 8 to 18 can come and discover their own gift for writing.

Hidden behind a Monster Supplies Shop on Hoxton High Street, the Ministry of Stories offers a range of innovative writing programmes as well as one-to-one mentoring to help young people discover and realise their own creative potential.

The organisation also helps young people build confidence, self-respect and communication skills in both workshops for schools and out-of-school writing clubs.
