Story
In late May and early June this year, my son, Nicholas and I will be cycling from the tip of Cornwall to the north-eastern Corner of Scotland over a two week period. We hope to cover around 1,000 miles, or 1,600 kms and climb over 16,000 metres of hills and mountains. I am raising funds for Parkinson's Society in memory of mother who died around 20 years ago after a long battle with the disease. We are starting the ride on Monday May 31st and will be posting regular updates on this site as we go so follow along with us!
Parkinson's Society funds new research to find new and better treatment of Parkinson's disease and provides information and support to individuals and families living with Parkinson's. They are a great organisation and deserve all the support you can give.
