The London Marathon is always something that I have wanted to tick off my bucket list. This year I have been awarded a balloted place in the 2023 Marathon and thought why not try and make as much as I can for Charity.

I said to myself if I gained a place in the Marathon I would run in full Firefighter Structural Kit along with a Breathing Apparatus Set. Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service have agreed and all the money I raise will be given to the Fire Fighters Charity; they provide specialist lifelong support for members of the UKs fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives.
