Story
I am running the London Marathon this year, on behalf of the Gurkha Welfare Trust, because I'd like to raise money to contribute towards rebuilding a school in Nepal.
This is in memory of my school friend, Lt Edward Drummond-Baxter and his colleague LCpl Siddhanta Kunwar, who served as members of the Royal Gurkha Rifles, and were tragically killed whilst serving alongside eachother in Afghanistan.
I am hoping to raise £2,000, which will contribute towards the £98,000 cost of rebuilding Shree Saraswoti Secondary School in Ramechhap District, Nepal, which was damaged during the 2015 earthquake.
