The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.

Story

On the 5th March at 4am, I will be taking part in the 4/4/48 challenge.

I will be fundraising for The Mental Health Foundation and hope to raise awareness around the subject of mental health. Having struggled with my own mental health in the past, I understand the importance of seeking help, especially when you don't want to.

The 4/4/48 challenge is where you run/walk/bike 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. This challenge is set by David Goggins, a retired navy seal. His mantra, to constantly push out of your comfort zone and challenge your mindset, was one of the things which helped me when I was struggling. It still helps me everyday.

Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated and go towards helping other people who are struggling.

I'll post updates in this page as I go along!

(Due to current covid restrictions, I may have to complete some sessions on an indoor bike).
