Mark Price is an old friend from my Manchester days and has been a constant friend ever since. I was thrilled when he went on to marry my wife's best friend, and furthermore when their beautiful twins, Emily and Isabel were born.

It was unbearably sad to hear of Isabel's illness and her brave fight before her tragic death on the 3rd January 2015.

This challenge is a fantastic way to raise money for the excellent staff at St Barts who cared for Isabel, and who I know offered amazing support for Mark and Mealie.  It is for this reason that I had no hesitation in supporting Pricey on this cycling adventure.

It is now time to purchase a suitable bike and the obligatory lycra, and attempt to shift the sizeable beer gut which is an endless source of amusment to my wife and 3 year old daughter.
