Our vision is for a world in which every mitochondrial disease patient has a voice and access to treatment, support to improve their life and, ultimately, a cure.

Story

Having thought that I had hung up my running shoes for good Jen my better looking better half has 'gently' persuaded me to come out of running retirement to join her in the Brighton Half Marathon for an incredibly worthy cause the Lily Foundation.

Information on the Lily Foundation and the incredible work they do can be found here http://www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk/lilys-story/

To keep things interesting as Jen is a competitive lass I aim to finish at least 10mins ahead of her... for every pound donated I will contribute 10p for each minute she claws back on me; so if i finish 8mins ahead I will contribute 20p. Of course if she beats me then I will match pound for pound each donation...
