The Lake Houston Family YMCA in Kingwood, TX has been a part of my life for the last 26 years.  I have enjoyed coaching basketball, flag football, participating in Indian Guides and volunteering at special events such as Bridge Fest.  I’m currently serving as the Center Board Chairman and have served on the board for the last 3 years.

Our YMCA offers so many great programs such as teaching at risk youth how to be safe around water, offering adaptive programs for children and adults with disabilities.  During COVID, the Y has served over 500,000 plus families through food distribution and child care.
