The Bridge Trust is a local charity providing support for single homeless adults across Kent. We work closely with statutory and other voluntary organisations to provide a bridge from homelessness to independent living.

Story

Last year I raised nearly £2000 pounds for the Bridge Trust.  They spent that on caring for people in our community who have are in need of extra support - the homeless.  Having worked in night shelters I know how much hard work it is to offer a service to those who have lost so much and it is right that we as a community act.  I am proud to support the Bridge Trust and this year I will not only be doing the dragon boat racing, but the half marathon too.

Thanks to a new Parliamentary diet - for which I have received some not altogether positive comments from friends - I have decided to also do the half marathon.  I also hope to be a bit quicker than last year!

So please do support this excellent cause and the work they do in providing accommodation and support to transform single homeless adults' lives. Thank you.
