Story
If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd be running the London Marathon, well it would have been a very funny joke! Along with many others, the global pandemic and the boredom of lockdown sparked my fitness journey and I've never looked back.
Over the past year, I have pushed myself along this journey and so far have raced in several half marathon's, duathlon's and triathlon's leaving the London Marathon as my next big challenge. If all goes well, I'll see you in Barcelona next year for my first Iron Man!
This year I will be running the London Marathon in aid of the Special Olympics GB. Special Olympics GB is the largest provider of year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults of ALL abilities with intellectual disabilities. With more than 6,500 athletes, they are so much more than just a sport organisation - they genuinely transform lives.
I would like to say the biggest thank you to anyone who is able to donate or come down to support on the 2nd October!
BIG CHEERS,
TOM X
