Inter-Livery Swimathon 2017 · 2 March 2017 ·

SCF upholds the philanthropic tradition of the Salters' Company by distributing grants to causes close to Salters' hearts, including our military affiliates, educational establishments and City institutions. We also award larger project grants to support vulnerable people in London.

Story

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's.

Shocking isn't it - and it isn't just the "over 50s" it can affect. Young people can get it too.

For that reason, the Salters' swimathon team want to raise some valuable funding and awareness for Cure Parkinson's by swimming 5000 metres in 2.5hrs on 2nd March. We don't have long to go but I hope you will dig deep and motivate us to achieve this.

The Salters Charitable Foundation has agreed all sponsorship raised by the Salters' Swimathon Team will be donated to The Cure Parkinson's Trust. We have used the SCF as the means for donations to attract Gift Aid.

Any donations are hugely appreciated by the whole team. You know what to do next!

Thanks!

Tom
