Story
Tomahawk Steakhouse are proud to be fundraising for Great North Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Sarah Pike, our Head of Marketing and Business Development and Social Media Manager Sophie Coates immediately jumped at the chance of zipping off the City’s iconic Tyne Bridge down to the Quayside all in the name of charity.
Sarah said: “With Tomahawk being based at the foot of the NE1 Summer In The City/Jelly Legs zip line, it’s a no-brainer that we should participate in our fantastic City of Newcastle events, and what better way than to support such a fantastic charity right here in NE1.
We are hoping to raise £1000 that can go towards the life saving work the hospital does for our poorly little ones and their families, keeping life as normal as possible whilst under the care of the truly amazing teams at Great North Children’s Hospital. Every penny and pound really does count towards our goal and we really appreciate everyone’s support for this wonderful charity.”
To support us please donate on this page - here’s a little bit more about the charity below…
Donations to the Great North Children’s Hospital Foundation support the many children and their families who come to our hospital for treatment and care, making their experience the best it possibly can be. Innovations that really make a difference to our patients and staff including life changing research, cutting-edge equipment and technology are funded by donations along with initiatives to support the wellbeing and development of our staff. Evidence shows that children have a quicker recovery when they are in an environment they enjoy and we strive to make GNCH as welcoming and friendly as it can be.
