Story

Hi we're called Tom and Ed and we're doing an open water swim for the Rennie grove hospice care. We are going to attempt a 400m swim(Tom) and a 1,600m swim(Ed) in which we hope to raise £200 for a great charity which our grandparents are heavily involved with.  We got into open water swimming last year during lockdown as pools were closed and we would like to put our new skills into action for this amazing cause. We are very excited to swim in the freezing waters and try to outlast the temptation of getting out early to grab a warm towel!

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a registered charity offering services to support local patients diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. By offering a 24-hour responsive hospice at home service in combination with other services such as day hospice and family support, we allow our patients to choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life.
