My family and I are running in the 5km Santa Fun Run to raise much needed funds to finish the build of our Scout Hut. The old hut was destroyed by fire a few years ago and the replacement building in Beaumont Way in Hazlemere is nearing completion and we are in desperate need of additional funds to complete the work on the interior. 

As a child I was a Beaver, a Cub and a Scout and attended meetings in the old hut, and in recent years I have become a Cub leader at the 11th. The Scouting movement provides kids with the opportunity to take part in activities that may not otherwise be available to them, and I have great memories of trying new things like caving, kayaking, hiking, climbing, abseiling and shooting when I was growing up.

Please give what you can to this worthy cause. Completing the Scout Hut gives us our home back!
