Morrisons Great South Run 2015 · 25 October 2015 ·

Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Story

I am running The Great South Run in October in memory of my beautiful mum,Viv, raising money for the Rowans Hospice as they do an absolutely amazing job in looking after people, most of whom are at the end of their lives.

Earlier this year, I lost my lovely mum, at the age of 55. Which has absolutely devastated me and my family. She had been diagnosed with a brain tumour in September 2014..She passed away peacefully in the early hours of February 11th, surrounded by loved ones. The Rowans Hospice were there at every step of the way during her last day. They kept her comfortable and pain free. They have also offered there support to us since. I cannot talk highly enough of them.

They rely on donations so I would be grateful for any amount of sponsorship for this great cause....Thank you
