Our beloved friend Tom has passed away and we miss him dearly. His family have been amazed at the offers of help from far and wide. In place of flowers, food or gifts, they would like to encourage people to donate to a charity that was important to Tom, The Samaritans.

• Every £5 raised could fund a call for help from someone struggling to cope.
  
  
• £46 raised will train and support an existing Samaritans volunteer for a year.
  
  
• £200 raised could train a new volunteer to offer Samaritans’ life-saving service.
  
  
• £5,000 raised could keep Samaritans' phone line open for 24 hours.
