London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
On the 22nd April 2018, I'll be running the London marathon for a Charity called Shine in memory of my cousin Sarah.
Sarah suffered from a condition called Spina Bifida amongst many other difficulties in her life. All of the best consultants in the country believed the odds were always stacked against her claiming she wouldn't live past 24hours and in fact going on to live for 21 years. She managed to enjoy more in 21 years of life than most people do in 80 and her legacy lives on in her daughter.
Running a marathon for me is a only fraction of the difficulties Sarah faced in life but she took them all in her stride and I intend to carry that same determination to the finish line.
I believe this is my opportunity to try give something back to to a Charity that does so much for families and those who face the same difficulties Sarah did, so please if you can donate any amount towards helping me achieve my target it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
