Tom's Jumbo Gaming Marathon Extravaganza 2019

Tom's Jumbo Gaming Marathon Extravaganza 2019 · 28 February 2019
We've reached level 4! Join me for my fourth year of charity gaming in support of IIH UK!
The past 3 years I have done this, I had to stay awake for 30+ hours in order to complete my 24 hours of games played, and this year will be no different, except of course for the new high score in generous donations from all of you!
Expect the same amount of good times, laughs and charity bigging up from myself and other players who will be joining me through the day.
You can watch the steam live from 8am on the 28th of February at www.twitch.tv/tombeardo
Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) is a neurological condition of unknown cause defined by increased intracranial pressure (ICP) around the brain without the presence of tumour or disease.
My wife was diagnosed with the condition in her late teens. She's now nearly 30 and in the past few years has had 4 surgeries to fit, adjust and remove shunts in her brain. It's a terrible condition to suffer with, constant headaches, blurred vision, sometimes even loss of vision.
At the moment there is no cure for IIH, the best that can be done is to treat it with medication or surgery, neither of which are guaranteed to alleviate symptoms. More research is needed which is why donations to charities like IIH UK are so important.
