This year at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice we cared for over 370 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, in both our inpatient unit - Horizon House and in the local community. We rely on your generous donations to continue to fund our vital services.

Story

I’m Tom McKibbin, a golfer from Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Earlier this year I won the Junior Honda Classic tournament in Florida, and last year I had the honour of winning the World Kids Championship at the famous Pinehurst course in North Carolina.

This summer I am competing in a number of championships and hope to bring more titles back home.

On May 23, 2016, I became an Official Ambassador to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice (NICH) – and so during the course of the summer tournaments and in the future, I aim to raise much-needed funds for NICH.

NICH is a charity that provides the highest quality care and support to children with life-limited conditions, and their families. It costs £3m a year to run this service in hospices in Belfast and in Co Fermanagh. Our amazing public in Northern Ireland raises around £2.5m of this cost annually.

So I am asking you for your support too. Whatever you can help with – every single penny makes a difference.

I’ll keep you updated about my progress on tour. You can follow me on Twitter @tommckibbin8 and through the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice social media pages.

Thank you,

Tom McKibbin
