Story

Update 09/09/2013: The Charity Race Night went amazingly! Thanks for everyone who attended. Also a special thanks to the male friends and family who got waxed on the night and raised a massive amount towards the fund. Also a special thanks to all the businesses who gifted a prize for the raffle. The raffles raised of £1000 themselves! Celtic FC gifted a signed football which raised £200 in auction and also Calendonian Travel gifted a 3 day mini cruise which raised £350 in auction. So overwhelmed and pleased with how much we have managed to raise and we couldn't have done it without everyones kindness. So a massiveThanks to you all!! xx

Update 24/07/2013: Charity Race Night has been arranged for Saturday 7th September, Potters Bar, Stevenston. I have some lovely male volunteers doing a sponsored wax which will take place on the Race Night. A Raffle Prize draw will also take place.

Today (24/06/2013) my son Tommy had his first cranial assessment. His results were that he has severe Brachycephaly and also severe Plagiocephaly.

Tommy's measurements were that his head width was 103% to the length of his head. The normal percentage is around 85%. This is what is known as Brachycephaly because the back of his head is flat and the width of his head is longer than the length.

Tommy also has 15mm assymetry at the back of his head. This is the plagiocephaly.

I have uploaded pictures of his first assessment for you to see my wee guys head shape. Tommy is getting his TiMband Helmet fitted on 8th July 2013. The cost of this treatment is £1950 and unfortunately we are unable to fund this ourselves. May i add that this treatment is not available on the NHS as this is classed as a cosmetic condition.

I am hoping you all can kindly donate towards his treatment. Anything raised above the treatment cost will go to Headstart4babies.org to help other families with kids that suffer these conditions.

Thanks in advance for any kind donations!
