Yes that’s right, me too!

 I may have been off the competitive sporting circuit for a while but I am back - just a little bit ‘larger’… BUT cometh the hour, cometh the man.

Somebody, who is in a lot of trouble if I find them, has entered me for a Marathon. They refused a note from my Mum saying I had a chesty cough and gammy knee.

So here I am, preparing to run 26.2 miles. My Personal Trainer says I am on track for a creditable 7hr 20 mins and if I should get a stitch, I shall be armed with a map of the underground.

I rather foolishly told those nice people at CLIC Sargent (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood) that I had any number of great friends who were very generous and charitable. The trouble is, they believed me!! So, not only do they expect me to run a medically dangerous distance but also to raise shed-loads of Money. This is where I need your help?

CLIC help children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continue to support them afterwards. It really is a great cause and any money is greatly appreciated. Please see the website below for more details:
