Ultra Marathon Challenge · 5 December 2020

Supporting children 0-16 who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling in the West Hertfordshire area. We organise fun days and family events to help bereaved families build their own support network locally.

Story

This is going to be an arduous overnight ultra marathon
challenge.  Running from my home in Hemel
Hempstead to my place of work at the Finlay Gym at RAF Halton.

Both legs of the journey will be 16 miles with a well
deserved high calorie break at the half way mark! ;-)

During lockdown I feel this is an ideal opportunity to do
something worthwhile for charity, particularly because large scale organised charity events have been postponed.

Nikki's Wishes primarily support children who have been
bereaved of a parent or sibling in the Dacorum and West Hertfordshire areas.
Funds are raised by hosting events such as the annual Nikki Cross Family Fun Day and any sponsorship I can raise will help the charity in their important work providing multiple therapeutic services to children and their families.

It is a charity close to my heart and any donation big or small will make such a difference to helping support bereaved children in our local community.
