I'm going to cut off all my hair! · 13 April 2020

The NHS is facing the challenge of COVID-19 head on. With your help, Barts Charity can be there for the Barts Health NHS Trust hospitals we support: St Bartholomew's, The Royal London, Mile End, Whipps Cross and Newham.

Story

It's going to be a disaster of almighty proportions.  I'm cutting off my hair - and for anyone that's seen my (unfortunate) hairline, you know that this is a brave (or foolish?) decision.  All my baby forehead hair will be on display for the world to see in all its glory.  (Though I have just ordered a multi-pack of headbands from Amazon...)

To celebrate 72 years of the NHS, I'll also be doing 720 burpees in 12 hours.  That's a burpee every minute...for 12 hours! SOS.

Barts NHS Trust is very close to my heart.  It saved my life.  And has looked after many members of my close family in challenging circumstances.  What's a few burpees in comparison to that eh?! *Nervously laughs*
