I'm running the Manchester Marathon with a group of my close friends on 16th April and together we have decided to raise money for Alzheimer's Society in the process, as all of us have seen the suffering that Dementia and Alzheimer's cause, first hand. 

In my case, my Grandmother suffered from Dementia in her final years, and it had a lasting impact on me. I feel that Alzheimer's society is a worth cause, as it helps to provide support for those living with the disease as well as funding clinical research into the causes, better diagnoses, and treatments.
