Story

Hello! I'm going to run the Great North Run, a half marathon around Newcastle, in September.

I know everyone gets loads of fundraising requests, so thanks for thinking of helping me with this one. I run because running is fun, but for this race I thought I'd try raising some money for cancer research too. I won't do this often so if you think I'm worth a sponsor this is your chance!

I don't need to say much about Cancer Research UK. Our life expectancies are increasing by about six hours a day[1], a great part of which is due to smart people learning how to prevent and treat cancers. That's good.

If you can spare some of your hard-earned pounds to help me reach my target, I'll be super thankful. If I hit it, I promise I'll train hard and bust my lungs to get round in a good time.

Thanks,

Tommy.
