My close friends and family will already be aware of the reasons behind my decision to participate in the London Marathon on behalf of Tommy's however, I strongly believe that it shouldn't be a taboo subject when talking about pregnancy loss and therefore, I would like to share our story. 

Over the past 2 years, my wife and I have unfortunately experienced two miscarriages, both being the result of a genetic chromosome unbalance. After further investigation into my family's generational genetics, I found out that I am a carrier of the unbalance chromosomes, making it more difficult for us to naturally conceive.

We had our first appointment at Guys & St Thomas Hospital in London in October whereby we are opting for assistance in conceiving and whilst driving down to London, I thought of no better way in which I can support couples like ourselves who have experienced difficult times when trying to conceive resulting in pregnancy loss than running for Tommy's at the London Marathon 2023. 

Tommy's are dedicated to finding causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as providing trusted pregnancy and baby loss information and support.

I am hoping to raise as much awareness and support as possible for Tommy's and those who have been effected by the loss of a baby.
