Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

‘In over 50 years the stats have barely changed, now less than 7% of those diagnosed will survive 5 years.’

With your help we can fund vital research and spread awareness of Pancreatic Cancer.

Introduction

Pancreatic Cancer Action is a national charity dedicated to saving lives by improving early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and the chance of patient survival. With your help we fund vital research, create medical education programmes, produce national awareness campaigns and vital patient information.Together we can make a difference!

The Plan

We are going to canoe a 100 mile stretch of the river Wye. We are planning to do this over 4 days, averaging 25 miles a day! We are setting of from Glasbury on the 23/08/18 and plan to arrive at Brockweir on the 26/08/18. Due to the time of year, you can not navigate the first 34 miles of the river by canoe. There are currently 6 people confirmed taking part!
