Story
I am running the ASICS London 10k on Sunday 9th July, raising money for STAMMA (aka The British Stammering Association), the UK national charity for people who stammer.
STAMMA’s aim is to create a better world for people who stammer; empowering and supporting individuals who stammer and those that support them; advocating for speech therapy services; and challenging societal misconceptions by promoting understanding of stammering.
Being a person who stammers, this charity has been a huge help to me as I navigated school and starting work.
Resources such as their helpline, open days and family days, provide a safe space for people to find their voice, build confidence and reach their potential.
They do an amazing job for the stammering community.
Help me give something back by raising a few quid that will enable STAMMA to continue and expand their vital work.
