We are looking to raise AU$20,000 to continue our activities in Zambia for the next 12 months, developing community rugby in Livingstone, as well as supporting various other community projects. $20k will fund employment of a rugby development officer to run tag rugby programs in local schools, pay our rent and running costs for the Bharats Sports Complex (a base for all our activities) and to employ our ground keeper. We are also looking for any rugby equipment that can be donated including rugby jerseys, shorts or socks for kids aged 10-14, rugby balls, cones, bibs ect.. Any sort of donation helps.
Livingstone Rugby Club Zambia Trust (LRCZT) was founded in 2014 by Paul Adams, Matt Adams-Smith and George Gregan who looked to build a sustainable rugby program in Livingstone off the back of UK charity Tag Rugby Trust's
work and in line with their "Building Futures Through Rugby" motto, providing a platform for developing Young Leaders.

After seeing the incredible work that Paul, Matt and George have undertaken since starting this Trust, it was a no brainer for me in wanting to be a part of something truly special when the opportunity came up. This will be my first time visiting Zambia where I will be assisting the trustees along with fellow Mosman Whales club member Campbell Clifford to help run tag rugby coaching in schools which will be followed by an inter-school's tournament at the end of the week. Rugby has provided me opportunities both on and off the field in my life that I never thought possible. The friends you make and the bonds you build is something that can not be replicated elsewhere. I know what we are asking for is a lot but as you can see in the documentary, donations whether they are big or small go so much further than you think for these kids who have nothing.
