A Windermere 3 peaks challenge combining rowing and running. Teams of 8 will row 20 miles on England's largest lake and run up the fells overlooking the lake...all to support disadvantaged children and young people.

Story

Generally under-prepared but with copious amounts of enthusiasm and valour our intrepid BAE Technology Management team will be rowing 20 miles on England's largest lake, stopping for a quick run up and down Wansfell, Latterbarrow and Gummer's How fells on the way round.

The event is in support of the  Brathay Trust, funding life-changing programmes for children, young people and families facing significant challenges in their lives.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
