We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

In 2019 I will be attempting to run 26.2 miles as I complete The London Marathon in April AND then madly cycle 100 miles to complete Ride London in July all in aid of Cancer Research UK!

Why Cancer Research? Well because frankly Cancer is pretty evil and takes away from us those who we love most.

Two amazing individuals who have had a massive part to play in my life have been taken after battling Cancer; my Nanny Val and my Grandad Roy.

If you didn't know either of them my Nanny Val, was one of the kindest people. Her love for people was as clear as anything and that love is now shared throughout our family, and then
My Grandad Roy, well what a man, he honestly was my shining light growing up and whose smile and jokes I miss everyday.

I don't expect it to be easy to complete either of the following challenges but I hope it's not as difficult as trying to find the right words for this was.

Words truly can't describe how much I miss these two shining lights and they will be in my thoughts through every step and pedal of this journey!!

So please get behind me and Megan (whose own story can be found on her page), and donate whatever you can, or come along to our events, come for a run with me, or come and cheer us on during the big day!!

Honestly it is all appreciated so so so much!!

Let's try and help less families being affected by Cancer!!

Thank you!!
