Long Ducker Bike Ride 2022 · 4 September 2022 ·

The Long Ducker Bike Ride 2022 starts and finishes at Harrow School on Sunday 4 September comprising of a long (80 miles) and short (45 miles) route. All funds raised during the Bike Ride will go towards the Harrow Club.

Story

I am attempting to complete the double of the Long Ducker bike ride on Sunday 4th September and the half marathon in November to raise much needed funds for the Harrow Club who are benefitting from all the funds raised by Long Ducker this year!

I have been a Trustee of the Harrow Club for nearly 10 years. The Club however, has been working to create positive futures for marginalised young people in West London since 1883. It aims to empower young people to complete their education, avoid anti-social behaviour and become positive contributions to society. The contribution through Long Ducker has been extraordinary and has helped us both directly and indirectly to launch new initiatives, such as a programme for young people with behavioural issues who would otherwise be excluded from school. Among other vital projects, we are helping young people who dont have access to laptops at home so that they can access online schooling. We have been able to secure over 100 laptops, which we are making available to the neediest.
