Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. SSAFA has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. 

To mark my 37th birthday this April I intend to cover my own version of our Military's "Long Drag" or "Endurance" March!!

All on my lonesome and carrying 60lbs of equipment I will walk and run the length of Dartmoor National Park from Ivybridge in the South, back to my own home in Nymet Rowland in the North.

A distance of over 65 Kilometres!

Anyone who knows Dartmoor knows that the Terrain, Tor's and Weather are can be quite unforgiving.

The special individuals who do this march in the army only have about 20 hours to complete it in! However due to my old age and fat arse I will give myself just a bit more time, all in aid of a fantastic charity, the SSAFA who support our armed forces through thick and thin.

Over 13000 people who have served and fought for our nation find themselves homeless, many unwell and suffering from PTSD. This is simply appalling and unacceptable for one of the wealthiest nations on earth.

The fantastic people from the SSAFA do all they can to help them and they NEED our support. Please give anything you can even if its just a little.
