I'm walking 100 Miles to improve cancer survival rates

Hi all!
I’m walking 100 miles in February to raise money for The World Cancer Research Fund.
For those of you who aren’t aware, this kind of charity is very close to my heart, as my beautiful Mam, Kelly James passed away from Breast Cancer when I was 8 years old.
In addition to this, about 2 years ago, I also found a lump in my breast (which thankfully, after having a biopsy turned out to be benign) but since then, as Mam was only 29 being diagnosed & 32 on her passing, the clinic fast tracked me to getting genetic testings done.
As you can imagine, this was a very scary & triggering moment for me.
About 8 months ago, I had blood tests taken to send to the Genetic Testing lab & about 2 months ago I received the news that I’ve tested positive for the CHEK2 Breast Cancer gene. Due to my family history, I have been placed within the high risk category and therefore, I am meeting with breast consultants, surgeons & the genetics team to see what kind of preventatives we can put in place to help keep me safe, which I am extremely grateful for. Something that would be less possible if it wasn’t for charities like the World Cancer Research Fund.
So honestly, any donation whether it be big or small (with me being very aware of the time of year, all money being spent around Christmas & obviously just life in general) I would be extremely grateful!
Progress from the walks will be updated on my socials.
Much love x
