Story
My story on 13th November we found that we were having another a little Princess and everything was fine. We started planning picking names and nursery colours, only 4 weeks later I stopped feeling her movements. I visited the hospital 3 times that week heard her heart beat and on last visit even had a scan and seen her little heart beating and legs kicking. They referred me for a more detail scan just to make sure she was developing which took place 10th December thats when our world came crashing down when the midwife noticed shes was measuring small and that her cord wasn't working the way it should have been. We were referred to the R.V.I for the next day 11 December where we were told her little heart had stopped beating, the rest of the day is just a blur. On the 13th December I give birth to the most beautiful little girl with Ruby red lips who i couldnt take home. I came home with a memory box who if it wasn't for 4louis I wouldn't have the few little memories I do have.
4louis are an amazing charity who helped me and my partner in December 2015 when at 6 months pregnant our daughter Evie leigh was born sleeping. Not only do they provide memory boxes for families who have suffered the trauma of miscarriage, still birth and child loss, they are also providing them for families who have lost loved ones to covid-19. They work round the clock to not only to support families but also support midwives and nurses with other vital equipment such as moses baskets, cuddle cots, camera equipment, and support with bereavement suites. 4Louis is a charity established in December 2009 by Kirsty and her partner following the stillbirth of their own son Louis.
