February I went to a&e struggling to breathe and a lump in my throat, I was given a date for an ultrasound but then covid made sure that was cancelled. Over the next few months I became more and more exhausted, the pain in my entire body has increased 10 fold. I went back to a&e with more breathing difficulties and very enlarged supraclavicular lymph nodes 2 months ago. Given antibiotics and told it was viral. Called my GP and explained my symptoms, she put my through on the 2 week cancer pathway and I had a core biopsy that came back inconclusive. Last Thursday I had a excision biopsy of a clump of enlarged lymph nodes. He told me then and there what I already knew.
This morning I got a phone call from Jacobs old nurse who is feckin fantastic!
She now works in a different dept and had called with the results of my biopsy. I have stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Soo this week I am planning to shave my head in preparation for my chemo!!! I would like to give something back to candlelighters who supported my family when my son battled his own cancer fight a few years back!!!!
