Myself and some "middle aged" friends intend to do the Palace to Palace Bike ride in September.

It is claimed to be a 46 mile route from Buckingham Palace to Windsor (but seems much longer) ....

As fine specimens of the typical middle aged British man we are going to puff and pant our way around the course, with back braces, knee braces, assisted by lots of ibuprofen and Red Bull to help us get to the end and would love you to encourage us by offering us loads of cash and maybe a relaxing muscle rub or stretcher at the end.

Training was due to start, but a rather fine Pinot Noir has got in the way, but now I am running out of that, I intend to pump up my tyres (they are on the bike apparently!) will dust off the cobwebs, squeeze into my little Lycra number will be hitting the road in an attempt to remember how to ride a bicycle.
