Story
Hi everyone.. I'm raising money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity who provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need by voluntarily jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft at 13,000 feet..!!
Imagine being fit, healthy and ambitious one day, with a full career and lifetime ahead of you, then the next minute you are requiring urgent medical attention, not knowing if you will survive and if you do, what the future may hold.
ABF The Soldiers' Charity are there to support both soldiers and their families throughout their time of need, from the time a soldier first receives medical treatment in a rehabilitation centre, through to ensuring that a soldier can live the rest of their life, safe in the knowledge that they have the right support and equipment to overcome their injuries.
Any money raised can help provide life changing equipment, such as a wheelchair ramp or a stair lift in the home, which has a huge impact on both physical and mental health, not only for the soldier, but also their family.
The ABF Soldiers' Charity is not just about the soldier though. The charity also provides support to their families, helping them to meet hidden costs when a soldier is seriously injured, or by helping to ease the pain financially when the worst happens.
Lots of reasons to support this worthwhile charity and any donations are of course, gratefully received and will contribute to making someone else's life a little better!!
