Be a lifesaver, and support the RNLI Mayday campaign in Selsey by taking on the challenge of a 5 or 10 mile circular walk around the Manhood Peninsula

Story

Hi I’m Immi and I’m 11 years old. I am supporting the RNLI mayday by doing a 5 mile sponsored walk this Sunday 28th May.

I have chosen to support the RNLI because if I or my friends were ever in danger in the water I would want someone to be able to help me. There are 238 lifeboat stations around the UK and Ireland manned by an army of brave volunteers, I think that is amazing and we are very lucky to have this service.

With an average of 24 call-outs a day they are risking their lives to help and protect us so they deserve all our support.

I will be taking my Grandad Tony, who is Lifeboat Operations Manager of the Selsey station, my Dad and our dogs Wilma & Betty for moral support and to carry my snacks.
